Talented striker Heather Jo Clark will face off against Sophia Bagherdai in a feature bout for XFC 18. XFC informed MMAFrenzy  of the bout earlier today. “Hurricane” Heather Jo Clark is a former college and professional hockey player with an amateur boxing and karate background. A Team Jackson product, the relentless fighter is looking to bounce back after a loss to  Marianna Kheyfets this past February at XFC 16. Sophia Bagherdai is a professional fighter from Milliennia MMA in California. Bagherdai is a dynamic striker with a powerful muay thai base. Bagherdai is also looking to get back in the win column after a loss at Invicta FC’s historic first card. The bout will be a catchweight fight at 120lbs. and will be featured on the HDNet televised card. XFC 18 takes place June 22 at the Nashville Municiple Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The New Jersey Devils’ David Clarkson is the type of teammate every hockey player loves to have based on his willingness to stand up to opponents when necessary even if over-matched. Clarkson’s latest example of machismo came last night when the Toronto Maple Leafs’ Dion Phaneuf roughed up one of his fellow Devils.
