Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) ring girl Arianny Celeste is currently in the Philippines, hosting several "Hot Import Nights" (HIN) events, as well as getting ready to shoot a magazine cover/photo spread for FHM Philippines.
Sitting on rooftops in Manila half-naked, drinking coconut juice, eating multiple breakfasts, hitting the pool/spa and of course, shopping, are all on the itinerary apparently.
Oh, and so to are radio and television interviews, according to her Twitter.com timeline.
That's one way to spend an mixed martial arts (MMA) event-less few weeks. But, she'll need to pack up her cute little things soon enough and ship off to Stockholm, Sweden, which will host the promotion's next show, UFC on Fuel TV 2: "Gustafsson vs. Silva," on April 14, 2012.
The good news is she's still got more time to show off her goods on international skylines for about two more weeks.
I wonder what Brittney Palmer is doing.
For the third time ever, a UFC Octagon girl will grace the cover of Playboy. The UFC's own Brittney Palmer posed for an 8-page pictorial shot by Steve Shaw that hits stands this Friday, Feb 17.
You may remember Brittney Palmer from her appearance on The Sporting Rave Podcast, and the UFC ring girl hasn’t let up since then.
She rejoined the UFC after her hiatus for art school, but hasn’t missed a beat. Fresh off her appearance at UFC on Fox 2 in Chicago, Brittney posted a picture on twitter of her latest piece of art, a painted guitar in the image of Jimi Hendrix.
Take a look below, this is just incredible. After seeing this genuine tribute, I look forward to what her art might hold in the future.

Did we mention that Brittney Palmer made her return to carrying cards as an Octagon girl at UFC 140 last night in Toronto? Well, there she is. Did we also mention that she'll be posing for Playboy for the March 2012 issue? Oh, we did? Just checking. Happy Sunday, Maniacs.
Before watching him defend his light heavyweight championship tonight (Dec. 10, 2011) in the main event of UFC 140 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, against Lyoto Machida, go behind the scenes with Jon Jones.
Ride along as "Bones" goes through the open media workouts, the pre-fight press conference and weigh-ins, all leading into tonight's pay-per-view fight against "The Dragon."
He even has the Octagon girls, Arianny Celeste, Chandella Powell and Brittney Palmer, tell him why he would make a good model. Lucky dog.

With the recent news of Brittney Palmer’s eventual return to the UFC, many UFC fans were beyond excited to hear that the popular ring girl would be returning to her duties of gracing the weigh-ins and octagon cage. The Californian was most recently seen earlier this year, before taking time off to commit to her lifelong passion in art. Palmer has been taking classes at UCLA during her time off from the organization, but prior to UFC on FOX, president Dana White tweeted “Should we bring Brittney Palmer back?”, the resounding response was a seemingly unanimous yes. With that response, White declared that Palmer will be returning to her duties as an Octagon Girl.
Along with the announcement, Palmer recently released a 2012 calendar, which features pictures of her around the world. In addition to that, Palmer has recently begun designing shirts for her own company called Stone Free Apparel.
MMAFrenzy.com had the opportunity to talk with Palmer about her time off from the UFC, along with her experiences away from the organization.
MMAFrenzy: You’re now an art student at UCLA. How do you feel that transition is going, and how excited are you to be able to pursue a passion and dream of yours?
Brittney Palmer: It’s amazing how good it feels to pursue your passion. I feel like the instruction has been very beneficial in advancing my artistry and I feel like I’m getting better everyday!
MMAFrenzy: You’ve been dabbling in art for quite a while, and that has now escalated into designing t-shirts. Describe how that process came about, and how great of an experience it has been.
Palmer: I’ve been passionate about painting since I was a kid. See, my designs on clothing, being able to wear the artwork that inspires my life, has been an incredible experience. I like creating art that people can relate to, and I think the icons from rock and pop culture from the 1960s and ’70s era is very relatable.
MMAFrenzy: A few months ago, there were reports that you were no longer a ring girl, and that it was permanent. So much was made of this, Dana White personally addressed those rumors, stating they were false. How did that go about for you?
Palmer: I’m flattered that there was such a big stink made about it, but it shouldn’t be about me. It’s never fun to hear rumors being spread about yourself, but it’s comforting to know that the fans care so much!
MMAFrenzy: With all the travel that goes along with the UFC and WEC, are you glad to have been able to stay home and settle down for a while?
Palmer: I really like traveling. Yes, there’s less time when you’re on planes and in hotels, but how cool is it to go to rad places like Australia for work? When I’m home I really enjoy throwing on some Led Zeppelin and painting as long as I can.
MMAFrenzy: With that travel, what was the favorite place you traveled to? My assumption is Australia will be your answer…
Palmer: Australia is the easy answer!
MMAFrenzy: What has been your best experience with the UFC?
Palmer: Surfing at Bondi Beach in Sydney was an incredible experience. I love to surf, so that meant a lot to me to catch a wave in such an iconic place.
MMAFrenzy: Lastly, where can those that are interested find your artwork and calendar?
Palmer: My artwork and calendar is available on my website, www.brittneypalmer.com. I have an artwork collection and I also paint custom paintings for people. Check in with my twitter and facebook pages for all of the information regarding that!
After thousands of letters and tweets, just from me, and thousands of more tweets from the rest of the Brittney Bunch, the lovely and beautiful Brittney Palmer is back with the UFC.
It was inevitable really. From the moment she graced the Octagon at UFC 125, she instantly became the most popular female to walk around a cage carrying an oversized card with a number on it. When it was announced that she would be taking time off to go to art school, fans were outraged.
I still contend that Brittney doesn’t need the UFC. She still has her art, is working on a clothing line, and is now the new spokesperson for GAMMA. She’s doing just fine on her own. She’s returning because it’s what the fans asked, nay, begged for and, as a woman of the people, Brittney was happy to oblige. That just goes to show what a kind-hearted person she truly is.
She’s like Jeff Bridges in True Grit. He didn’t need to track down Josh Brolin, but he saw the look on Haliee Steinfeld’s face and after some words of encouragement, he was on his horse ready to kill a man. We’ll just ignore that whole part about the $50.
I don’t want to start any conspiracy theories, but if you look at the landscape of the UFC from UFC 133 (the first non-Palmer event of the year) to now, there have been a lot of unfortunate happenings.
Tito Ortiz wins for the first time in forever at UFC 132, in front of Brittney, and then gets destroyed at UFC 133 by Rashad Evans, with no Brittney at cageside. Not only did Ortiz lose at UFC 133, but he was only in that fight because Phil Davis pulled out of the main event. That card also lost their co-main event between Rich Franklin and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. At the following event, Chris Lytle retired before the fight, despite still be a very competitive welterweight. No American’s won at UFC 134 in Brazil. UFC Fight Night 25 was the lowest rated Spike TV event of the year. Diego Sanchez pulled out of UFC 135. Dominick Cruz got stuck on Versus after headlining a PPV. Jose Aldo had his first non-entertaining fight in the octagon at UFC 136. Georges St. Pierre pulled out of UFC 137 and then Mirko Filipovic and B.J. Penn retired after losses. Finally, UFC 138 was one of the weakest cards ever and UFC failed to do any promotion.
I’m not saying guys have pulled out of fights or weren’t fighting as hard or decided to retire because Ms. Palmer isn’t in her usual chair, but just look at the evidence.
Now, Brittney is back, and UFC on FOX is going about as well as it can. Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos are healthy and are ready for the biggest UFC fight in history. In fact, FOX only wanted to put one fight on television just so they could show more Brittney.
Also, I don’t want to take credit for Brittney’s return, but I received no less than five Tweets and texts from friends congratulating me on her return. That’s right, they congratulated ME, like I’m the one who will be wearing booty shorts and receiving catcalls on Saturday night.
So while I don’t want to take credit for her return, I will.
I spent many hours writing letters and tweets, talking on podcasts, and praying for the UFC return of Brittney Palmer. It’s true that hard work pays off. I worked hard in my goal to get Brittney back and it finally paid off this past week.
I’d like to thank myself, for working so damn hard. My swagga coach, Taavon, for making me as awesome as I am. Five Ounces of Pain for allowing me to write excellence anytime I want. And Brittney Palmer for looking hot and being humble.
Oh yeah, and God.

After a one week hiatus, the Sixth Ounce Podcast is back with a very special guest. Semi-retired Five Ounces of Pain writer Adam Tool joins Jeremy Lambert and Brendhan Conlan to discuss this weekends big UFC heavyweight title fight between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos. We’ll talk about the fight, how far the UFC has come over the years, and how many eyeballs we think will be tuned in on Saturday. Plus we talk about the rest of the card, Alistair Overeem vs. Brock Lesnar, a potential Tim Sylvia vs. Andrei Arlovski fight, and various other MMA news items. And you know I bring up the return of Brittney Palmer.
After that, stick around as fellow MMA writer Todd Bergman joins the podcast to talk a little NFL. He and I mainly talk about our Carolina Panthers and the greatness of Cam Newton but we also discuss the rest of the league and how the season has played out thus far.
It’s 45 minutes of MMA talk and 45 minutes of NFL talk so check it out.

After a recent parting of ways it appears the UFC has brought back one of the sport’s premier talents with the anticipated homecoming taking place as soon as this month. No, not Dan Henderson, but rather former ring-girl Brittney Palmer!
While some fans may have expected the UFC to steal away Kelli Hutcherson from Strikeforce given Zuffa’s handling of talent since purchasing the struggling promotion, Palmer’s card-carrying credentials apparently made the difference along with the public’s overwhelming appreciation for her well-rounded set of skills.
The decision to slot the 24-year old onto a future lineup came after UFC President Dana White took to the people via Twitter, polling them on whether or not they wanted to see her brought back after Palmer opted out of her deal to pursue her education/career in art.
White Discusses Palmer’s Departure
After intense research, fans cast their votes with an overwhelmingly positive response followed by mild sleepiness (based on how late the proceedings took place of course).
No specifics were given beyond her pending return and Palmer had not released a statement yet as of this posting.

Brittney Palmer is back as a UFC Octagon girl after UFC President Dana White asked fans on Twitter if they wanted the former WEC ring girl to return and announced she would be back just six minutes later:
Should we bring back @BrittneyPalmer? Vote now and let me know!!!! Done!!!! The votes have been counted and @BrittneyPalmer is back!
It is not yet clear whether Palmer will be back Octagonside for Saturday’s UFC on Fox event or will wait to return at another upcoming card.

It appears Brittney Palmer will be circling the cage once again.
A former WEC ring girl, Palmer took the same position with the UFC upon the January merger of promotions, but in July, she reportedly vacated her duties to pursue an art career.
But on Wednesday, White suggested Palmer will be back.
Brittney Palmer is back with the UFC. Dana White tweeted the following:
"Should we bring back @BrittneyPalmer? Vote now and let me know!!!! ...Done!!!! The votes have been counted and @BrittneyPalmer is back!"
Now, can we have Logan and Natasha back as well?
Filed under: UFC, NewsLast seen at UFC 132 in July, UFC Octagon girl Brittney Palmer won't be absent from UFC events much longer.
UFC president Dana White late Wednesday asked his Twitter followers if the UFC should bring back Palmer and within the hour, White had an answer.
"Done! The votes have been counted and Brittney Palmer is back."
White told Heavy.com in August that Palmer never officially parted ways but pointed to Palmer's artistic aspirations as a reason for her absence.
"Nothing happened with Brittney Palmer. It's one of those situations where Brittney has moved onto other things. She's living in L.A. now. She wants to be an artist and she's going to art school."
Arianny Celeste and Chandella Powell are the two other active UFC Octagon girls. During Palmer's absence, model Vanessa Hanson was brought in once as a guest Octagon girl at UFC 136 as a prize for winning a Transworld Surf open model search.

Good news, fight fans. Brittney Palmer is no longer a former UFC Octagon Girl.
That's because UFC President Dana White popped up on Twitter with a surprising but simple question:
"Should we bring back @BrittneyPalmer? Vote now and let me know!!!!"
So, of course, he was retweeted to thousands and thousands of fans who overwhelmingly responded that yes, he should, in fact, bring back Brittney Palmer. Not more than eight minutes later, the verdict was in:
"Done!!!! The votes have been counted and @BrittneyPalmer is back!"
And there you have it.
Palmer originally took off back in August to pursue her passion, art, and go to school in California. She has yet to make a statement regarding all that but either way, she'll be back cageside, carrying around cards telling us what round it is. No word on when that will be, though.
Happy, Maniacs?
The Sixth Ounce Podcast is back and this is quite possibly our most unusual episode ever. Things start off on the right foot between Jeremy Lambert, Brendhan Conlan, and Samer Kadi as they discuss whether or not Nick Diaz should jump Carlos Condit for a title shot if he defeats B.J.Penn and talk of Mirko Filipovic‘s potential retirement. Then things take a turn for the weird as we talk about topics that are trending on twitter and play another fun game of “Pop Culture Trivia Challenge” with Samer. It goes even further downhill from there as we go into a discussion of prior Halloween costumes and then things get heated between Samer and Jeremy when the topic of Brittney Palmer is brought up.
About an hour into the show, things get back on track as guest writer Jon Butterfield joins Samer and Jeremy to breakdown Penn vs. Diaz with Jon taking the side of Diaz and Samer taking the side of Penn.

The Sixth Ounce Podcast is back and better than ever. Join Jeremy Lambert, Brendhan Conlan, and Samer Kadi as they discuss the news of Georges St. Pierre pulling out of his UFC 137 bout against Carlos Condit and why so many injuries have happened this year in MMA. Then Jeremy and Samer review the greatest fight ever to take place in a ring between Kenny Garner and Maxim Grishin where we pick apart all the occurrences during the fight, and trust me, there were plenty of things to talk about in this contest between two below-average heavyweights. Shortly thereafter, we debut a new game where we ask Samer sports and pop culture questions and see if we can stump him. Finally, and most importantly, we discuss the ring girls in all the organizations and Jeremy’s continued quest to meet Brittney Palmer. It’s 90 minutes of MMA randomness, all served up in one entertaining podcast, so channel your inner Uncle Joey and check…it…out!

Brittney Palmer has long had MMA fans hot under the collar. But she threw some serious fuel onto their fires today when she mentioned to Full Contact Fighter...
"If Playboy came after me, I would definitely consider it. It would have to be the right move, the right shot, I would want it to be around my artwork and my paint. I know Farrah Fawcett, she did a spread forever ago, obviously, and she was like rolling around in paint, I think it would be something like that, it would be pretty awesome."
Former WEC and UFC Octagon girl Brittney Palmer, who is on hiatus from the world's largest fight promotion to get in touch with her artsy side, talks to Full Contact Fighter about her current whereabouts and of course, the chance to do a nude spread in Playboy if the opportunity ever presented itself.
Far be it for me to decide for you Maniacs, so let's hear from the peanut gallery. Anyone clamoring to see Ms. Palmer in her birthday suit? Or has the fascination worn off since she left fight game?
Thoughts?
Great news, Maniacs.
